How winner will be selected
A winner will be selected at random by the Leukaemia Foundation from amongst eligible registered participants of World’s Greatest Shave 2022.
Each person registered to participate in World’s Greatest Shave 2022 as an individual or a member of a team will be entered into the competition by the Promoter when they have raised $100* and will be entered into the competition again for every additional $100 they raise*
* As verified by the Leukaemia Foundation.

A participant in World’s Greatest Shave 2022 (‘WGS) is deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions when they register to participate in WGS.

The promoter of this competition is The Leukaemia Foundation of Australia Ltd (ACN 057 493 017 / ABN 57 057 493 017) of 213 – 217 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006 (telephone 07 3318 4418) (‘Promoter’).
The prize for the competition is a MY21 Suzuki Jimny Auto in Brisk Blue Metallic + Bluish Black Pearl (with standard fittings) valued at $35,000 inclusive of GST and on road costs (including costs associated with twelve (12) months registration of the motor vehicle in the place of residence of the winner, twelve (12) months third party compulsory insurance chosen by the Promoter, stamp duty and dealer delivery charges (as may be applicable).
The winner (on a draw or redraw) will receive the prize as described (or an equivalent chosen by the Promoter and/or Suzuki Australia Pty. Ltd. ABN 57 001 828 164 (‘Promotional Partner’)) by the date agreed between the Promoter and the winner or within 30 days of the date on which the draw or redraw takes place.
The prize must be collected by the winner from the nominated dealer of the Promotional Partner as notified to the winner by the Promoter. If the winner is from a remote area, arrangements will be made for delivery of the prize to the winner by the Promoter and the Promotional Partner.
Travel costs associated with claiming and taking delivery of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
All optional extras and accessories, any insurance not stated as included in the prize, personal costs and any other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.
Neither the Promoter nor the Promotional Partner will have any responsibility or be liable in any way for any mechanical, body or paint defects or repairs or repairs or maintenance of any kind relating to the prize that may be needed after the date and time the prize is delivered to the winner. For the purposes of this condition, the time when the prize is deemed to be delivered to the winner is when the key to the vehicle is handed to the winner.
Vehicles depicted in any promotional material relating to WGS are for illustration purposes only; the prize vehicle may be of a different colour or grade.
Registration and Entry:
To be entered into the competition, a person must be registered to participate in WGS (registered participant) as an individual or a member of a team. This registration can be via the following methods:

Arrange for registration to be completed on the participant’s behalf by an authorised employee of the Promoter. Note that this authorised employee must accept the Promoter’s Waiver on the participant’s behalf and if the participant does not wish to accept this waiver, they must contact the Promoter and advise of registration cancellation. A person who may be a member of a team but who is not registered will not be entered into the competition.
Unless they are not eligible under these terms and conditions, each person registered to participate in WGS as an individual or a member of a team will be entered into the competition by the Promoter when they have raised $100 (as verified by the Promoter and published on the official WGS online fundraising page) (the minimum amount), and will be entered into the competition again for every additional minimum amount they raise.
Where a registered person is a member of a team, the amount of funds raised by them will be the total as determined by the Promoter of: (i) the donations made on the participant’s own fundraising page and (ii) the average of donations made on the fundraising page of the person’s team (this average to be determined by the Promoter by dividing the total of donations made on the team’s fundraising page by the number of persons in the team, including the captain of the team).
A person who is not resident in the following states and territories of Australia on the date they become a registered participant or the date of the draw or redraw is not eligible for the competition: Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and Victoria.
The competition opens on 6 December 2021 at 12.01 AM AEST. Every registered participant who is not ineligible prior to this date will be automatically entered into the competition for every minimum amount they have raised.
Participants who register for WGS prior to 1 July 2021 are not eligible and will not be entered into the competition by the Promoter.
Competition entry closes 20 March 2022 at 11:59 PM AEST; any registered participant after this date is not eligible and will not be entered into the competition by the Promoter.
Teams and donors are not eligible to win. This prize is for a registered participant (a person registered to participate in WGS as an individual or as a member of a team) only.
The following persons and immediate family members are not eligible to enter the competition for themselves or on behalf of any other person: Board members and staff of Leukaemia Foundation and employees of Suzuki Australia Pty. Ltd.
There is no entry fee payable to participate. Each entry into the competition will have an equal chance of winning.
Draw and redraw:
The draw will to be held on Friday 25 March 2022 at TPAL, Level 2, 11 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000 at 3:00 PM (Sydney time) by random formula using randomdraws.com/au. If circumstances prevent the Promotor from conducting the draw on this date and time and at this address, the Promoter may hold the draw on another date and time or at another venue that it determines (subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority).
A scrutineer will be present at the draw.
The winner will be notified by the Promoter by phone and email on the day of the draw. The results of the draw will also be published in a print publication determined by the Promoter at a time and on a date nominated by the Promoter.
The winner will be published on the WGS Latest News website page will be on the first business day following the date of the draw at https://worldsgreatestshave.com/news
In the event the prize remains unclaimed by 10:00 AM (Sydney time) 27 June 2022 an unclaimed prize draw will occur at 3:00 PM (Sydney time) on 29 June 2022 at the same venue as the original draw in the presence of an independent scrutineer. The unclaimed prize winner will be notified via telephone and email within 2 business days of the draw and published on https://worldsgreatestshave.com/news by 6 July 2022.
If after the unclaimed prize redraw, the prize is not claimed or delivered by the date agreed between the winner and the Promoter, the Promoter may withhold the prize and need not conduct another redraw.
Claiming and delivery of the prize:
To be eligible to claim and take delivery of the prize, the winner (on a draw or redraw) must make contact with the Promoter and do the following within 3 months of being notified of their win to claim the prize:
confirm their full name and address.
provide a certified copy of their current and valid driver’s licence in the state or territory they reside in and will take delivery of their prize.
Before the winner (on a draw or redraw) can take delivery of the vehicle, the winner must:
provide to the Promoter (or the Promotional Partner or its nominated dealer) all information and complete and sign all documentation necessary to enable the vehicle to be registered in the winner’s name.
if required by the Promoter (or the Promotional Partner or its nominated dealer), sign a legal release in a form as may be required by them.
The prize must be taken by the winner (on a draw or redraw) as described and no compensation will be payable or substitution will be made if a winner is unable to take the prize as stated. The prize is non-transferable (except as provided in these terms and conditions), non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.
The winner (on a draw or redraw) must agree to a presentation of the prize, an interview and photography/videography of the delivery of the prize with personnel of the Promoter (or Promotional Partner of its nominated dealer).
Where the winner (on a draw or redraw) is unable to register the vehicle in their name or do not have a current and valid driver’s licence (for example, they are under the minimum age), the winner may assign the prize to another person with legal capacity for the purpose of registration (for example, for a person under the minimum age, a parent or legal guardian) (‘assignee’). In this case, the winner or the assignee must make contact with the Promoter within 14 days of the winner being notified of their win and provide the information and documentation and do such other things as required of the winner under these Terms and Conditions to claim and take delivery of the prize. Neither of the Promoter and Promotional Partner (and its nominated dealer) takes any responsibility for any such arrangements between the winner and the assignee.
All fundraising by registered participants must be conducted in a legal and appropriate manner in line with local state or territory fundraising laws, state or territory gaming laws and the Promoter’s fundraising guidelines. Adhering to these laws and guidelines is the responsibility of the registered participant. Registered participants should contact the Promoter’s office in their state or territory to ensure their fundraising complies with the Promoter’s guidelines prior to promoting or commencing fundraising.
All fundraising activities for WGS must be compliant with the Promoter’s community standards and values. If in doubt, registered participants should contact their Promoter’s team member for guidance before planning your fundraising activity. Free call (landline) 1800 500 088.
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw a registered participant from one or both of the WGS and a draw or redraw in the competition at any time if the Promoter forms the view (in its sole discretion) that the participant is in breach of the Promoter’s fundraising guidelines and community fundraising standards and values.
The Promoter and the Promotional Partner (and its nominated dealer), will not be liable for any costs, loss, theft, damage, or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion, or the use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, amend or update the terms and conditions applicable to the competition where and when it determines (in its sole discretion) that it is necessary to do so.
The decision(s) of the Promoter in relation to any aspect of WGS, the competition and fundraising are final.
Each registered participant in WGS will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions when they register to participate in WGS.
