Why take part
Every day, 55 Australians hear the words ‘you have blood cancer’. Many of them are left unable to work and make ends meet for their families. Worryingly, that figure is set to double by 2035, unless we do something about it. That’s where your workplace comes in.
By taking on the World’s Greatest Shave and fundraising in the workplace, you'll help change the lives of Australians facing blood cancer by providing critical care and support services as well as funding game-changing research projects.
So, rally your workmates for the ultimate team building experience, all for a bloody beautiful cause.

Where your fundraising goes
Big or small, every donation matters – and helps the Leukaemia Foundation support Australians living with blood cancer today, while investing in a better tomorrow.
Last year, the World's Greatest Shave community made this life-changing support possible:

547 families provided with 39,854 nights of accommodation close to treatment.

866 families helped with financial assistance to help with the high costs of blood cancer.

1,879 people provided with transport assistance to get to and from life-saving treatment.

5 new research projects funded, with more than $600,000 committed to new research.
What’s it like to take part in a workplace fundraiser?

"The team at Norstar love to get behind a great cause and the World's Greatest Shave is personal for us. We always have a great time with lots of laughs and fun while raising much needed funds and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation and the brilliant work they do”
James Sailah, Director, Norstar

"We were thrilled to take part in the World's Greatest Shave. Together we helped to raise funds for this incredible organisation, but also by shaving, cutting and colouring our hair, it sent a powerful message of hope to the 150,000 Australians and their families facing blood cancer right now… “we see you and we support you”
