53 people are diagnosed with blood cancer every day, and we are saddened to say that very recently, one of our wonderful families have had to come to terms with this scary and life-changing diagnosis.

Taylor, a 24 year old mother of two (one of which is currently at the service), was diagnosed with a form of Leukaemia barely a fortnight ago. For any of you who have gone through this diagnosis process with a loved one, or yourself, you understand how scary and unknown this time is.

To show our love and support of Taylor and her family, we will be hosting a fundraising day on Friday 24th January. Tazz will be shaving her hair, and I will be colouring mine. We will also be asking staff and families if they would like to participate.

We will also be hosting a raffle, paid for by the owner of the centre, to help raise some money for Taylor and her family directly, and are looking at other fundraising opportunities (such as a bake sale, sausage sizzle) for the day as well.

We are currently searching for a hairdresser who might be willing to donate a few hours of their time to help with the shaving on the 24th January, so if this is you, or you know someone who might be available and willing to help us out, please get in touch also.
