Blood cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian children, impacting students and schools across the country. That’s why we’re calling on students and schools to take on the World’s Greatest Shave and fund game-changing support and research.
Every year, hundreds of schools across Australia step up to take on the World's Greatest Shave. Some even make it an annual tradition. Every dollar raised helps provide families with the support they need, while powering critical research projects that bring us closer to a future free of blood cancer.

Sign up to the World’s Greatest Shave online as a school team, or join your existing school team.

Set up your school's fundraising page
Once you’re in, decide when your school will hold your Shave event and your fundraising target, and add a photo and message on your page. Let others know why your school is taking part.

Start organising your Shave while the funds roll in
This is where the fun begins. Organise your Shave event – the bigger the better. Start recruiting students and staff to join the team, or donate, and watch the funds come rolling in.

Make it count
When your school’s big day arrives, get everybody together and embrace the fun. Don’t forget to share photos and videos on your school’s socials. Remember to keep sharing your page far and wide.

to further life-saving research and support families facing blood cancer.
Where your fundraising goes
Big or small, every donation matters – and helps the Leukaemia Foundation support Australians living with blood cancer today, while investing in a better tomorrow.
Last year, the World's Greatest Shave community made this life-changing support possible:
876 families provided with 44,280 nights of accommodation close to treatment.
910 families helped with financial assistance to help with the high costs of blood cancer.
2,079 people provided with transport assistance to get to and from life-saving treatment.
9 new research projects funded, with more than $3.3m committed to new research.
