TODAY IS THE DAY
March 25th 2025- Hair is washed and excitement is in the air as we prepare to kick off the Rubicon Grove Worlds Greatest Shave event at 13:45 today.Help us take a stand against blood cancer
During a recent hospital visit, a loved resident of Rubicon Grove Residential Care was overwhelmed by the impact blood cancer has on people's lives and felt they would like to give back in some way.
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.
On Tuesday 25th March 2025 we have 6 participants supporting his and the Leukaemia Foundations quest by shaving, cutting (donating hair for wigs to be made) or colouring their hair.
Resident: 1x Colour
Staff: 1x Shave, 2x Cuts, 1x Colour
Residents family: 1x Cut
All staff and residents are encouraged to wear BLUE on the day to recognise blood cancers.
By donating to our page, you’ll help us raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families. CASH donations are also welcome at Rubicon Grove Reception
Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.
