Why We're Fundraising

Our Lady of Lebanon Co-Cathedral is fundraising for the Leukaemia Foundation through the World’s Greatest Shave initiative in support of the members in our community who have battled with blood cancer and their families, relatives, friends and loved ones who have been affected as a result of this battle.

Every dollar helps provide families with the support they need, while powering critical research projects that bring us closer to a blood cancer free future.

In the Jubilee Year of Hope, we hope to show an abundance of charity to our neighbours and we ask that through the intercession of Our Lady, Our Lord will accept the sacrifices made through this initiative, and heal those afflicted, bring consolation to their loved ones and grant them the grace to overcome their suffering, if it be His Holy Will.
