I'm fundraising for the World's Greatest Shave

I'm proud to work at the Leukaemia Foundation. I feel incredibly honoured to work for a community of Australians- fundraisers, donors, advocates, supporters- who come together during the World's Greatest Shave to make a real and significant difference for people living with blood cancer.

I've seen first hand that funds raised through the World's Greatest Shave help to give Australians- and their families- who are facing blood cancer support, care and information as they come to terms with their diagnosis. Donations will provide practical and emotional support services to patients and their families through our incredible Blood Cancer Support Coordinators and range of support products. They'll fund game-changing research and help push for change where it's needed most. Ultimately, funds raised this Campaign will help contribute to achieving zero lives lost to blood cancer by 2035.

This year, I'm choosing to fundraise through Colouring my hair. For every donation of $30 (or more ;) ) I'll wear a colourful wig of the donors choosing every time I leave the house for a day in March. $60? 2 days. $90? 3 days. Pink bob? Green curls? Your call.

I won't love it, but I am proud to be able to contribute in some small way to ensuring that the experience of living with blood cancer is less lonely, scary and isolating than it is currently.
