I'm fundraising for the World's Greatest Shave
Hi everyone,
I’m Claire and I’m raising awareness and funds for the hundreds of thousands of Australian families facing the challenges of blood cancer.
While I’m thankful blood cancer hasn’t directly impacted my close friends or family, other cancers have deeply affected us, with experiences ranging from scares to losses.
With the knowledge and understanding of how cancer impacts individuals, families and communities, this foundation provides a powerful way for me and so many others to offer support and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute.
My goal is $2000 (or even more!) and I aim to raise $100 for each 1cm of hair I will be cutting off. By the end, I will be chopping 20-25cm off which will then be donated to help make wigs.
The money raised will go straight to the Leukaemia Foundation to give Australians facing blood cancer life-changing practical and emotional support. And to fund critical research, bringing us closer to the day when zero lives are lost to blood cancer.
