I'm fundraising for the World's Greatest Shave

I wanted to share something very personal with you. As I prepare to be a part of the Leukemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave, I find myself reflecting on the journey ahead. Cutting my hair is more than just a physical change; it's a symbol of solidarity, hope, and gratitude. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause. Every centimetre I cut represents support for those fighting leukemia and other blood disorders, and it fills my heart with joy to know that I can make a difference, even in a small way. However, amidst this gratitude, there's also a tinge of sadness. I will be doing this in memory of all the lives lost but holding my beloved love ones memory with me the whole way, he will forever remain etched in my heart. He was a source of inspiration, strength, and unwavering courage, and I will carry their spirit with me as I embark on this journey. So, as I take this step, I do it not only for those currently battling leukemia but also in honor of the ones we've lost along the way. Together, let's shave/cut/colour away stigma, raise awareness, and spread hope for a brighter, leukemia-free future. With heartfelt thanks and love, nellie
