Help me take a stand against blood cancer

Our dear friends are living every parent’s worst nightmare. Their incredible 12 year old son K was recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma; a shocking and heartbreaking moment that changed everything in an instant. But if there’s one thing we know about K, it’s that he is tough! He’s fighting with everything that he’s got, determined to beat this, and we couldn’t be prouder of him! 

K has the brightest future ahead of him, and no child should have to put their life on hold to fight this battle. He should have graduated from primary school with his classmates, and nervously started high school this year. He should be home with his parents and his little brother who loves and misses him immensely. He should be carefree and having his days filled with all the activities that he loves. Instead, K and his family are facing challenges no one should have to endure. Cancer doesn’t just affect one person - it impacts entire families, friendships and communities. 

That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. I will be cutting around 45cm my hair and donating it to be made into a wig. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

I am absolutely blown away by the love and generosity pouring in! In just another day we’ve hit $3000 and I can hardly believe it! 


When I decided to go all in and raise the target to $5000, I admit I was freaking out a little (ok, a lot)! But you incredible people have shown up in the most amazing way! Your support, your kindness, your donations, every single bit of it means the world!

This isn’t just about hitting a number - it’s about standing with families facing the toughest battles, showing them they’re not alone, and making a real difference to kick cancer’s butt! And YOU are all making this happen! 

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for supporting K’s journey, for believing in this cause, and most importantly for believing in a future where no family has to go through this alone 🩷

Raising the bar!

Thursday 13th Feb

We’ve already smashed the target in just one day (you guys are AMAZING)! Sam thinks I’m being too conservative and need to aim higher; so I’m going all in - can we actually hit $5000?! 


Omg!! Are we really doing this?! I’m actually freaking out a little! Ok, a lot! I wanted to set a target that felt achievable, but $5000?! That seems so high! But then I remind myself, what’s that compared to the battle that K is facing every single day?


K is showing us what true bravery looks like - facing the toughest fight of his life with so much strength and determination. If he can do that, then I can step outside my comfort zone, be brave, and aim high too! It feels so overwhelming, but let’s do it for K and other families going through the same fight.
