I'm fundraising for the World's Greatest Shave

Approximately 135,000 people in Australia face living with blood cancer / blood disorders right now, according to the Leukaemia Foundation. With a 47% increase in such cases over just the past decade, the devastation that blood cancer brings to individuals, families, and communities is only set to increase with time. I am not going to pretend I have been deeply affected by blood cancer in particular, and that this is my moral obligation - but after reading up a bit, and being aware of what grief that illness and cancer and bring about, I do believe that this serves as a great opportunity to remind us that there are these very real issues right under our noses - affecting friends, family, whoever, be it directly or indirectly - and that even if by chipping in a little bit of cash, supporting somebody, or just going out of our way to understand it / raise a little awareness - we can hopefully make some difference individually, and hopefully something more significant as a collective.
