We're fundraising for the World's Greatest Shave

Hello everyone, We are the school prefects of St Peter's College for 2024, and we are participating in the World's Greatest Shave. Blood cancer is Australia's hidden cancer crisis. There are 140,000 families facing blood cancer right now. And it takes the lives of 16 Australians every day. We're raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation to give Australians facing blood cancer life-changing practical and emotional support. And to fund critical research, bringing us closer to the day when zero lives are lost to blood cancer.  Many boys care greatly about what their hair looks like, and for some people it defines them. Removing this hair shows that cancer research, and people who suffer from cancer are far more important than a hairstyle. People who suffer from cancer do not get a choice, but everyone else does - by making this choice to shave our heads we will make a big difference, and so that people in the future will not have to face a battle with cancer. Any donation – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.
