Hi! My name is Tvisha, and I'm 13 years old. Ever since I was around 7 or 8, I’ve wanted to take part in the World’s Greatest Shave. I’ll never forget seeing a girl at my school bravely shave her head, and I knew right then it was something I wanted to do, too. Today, that desire is stronger than ever, fueled by the impact of blood cancer on Australian families.
Blood cancer is a silent crisis here in Australia, affecting over 140,000 families and taking 16 lives every single day. This number is expected to double by 2035 unless we take action. That’s why I’ve joined the World’s Greatest Shave, raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation to support Australians living with blood cancer and to fund crucial research toward a future where no life is lost to this devastating disease.
