Unveiling a Bold and Bloody Beautiful Change for the World's Greatest Shave!

27 Feb 2024

We're thrilled to share some exciting news about the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave 2024. Get ready to say goodbye to chins and hello to a new, bold, fresh, and 'bloody beautiful' new do!

As many of you know, the World's Greatest Shave has become a powerful symbol of solidarity, support, and hope for Australians battling blood cancers, including leukaemia/leukemiamyeloma, or lymphoma. , and this year, we're taking it to a whole new level.

The Blood Cancer Crisis

Australia is silently grappling with a blood cancer crisis. Each day, 53 Australians receive the devastating diagnosis, and we lose 16 precious lives to blood cancer daily. The numbers are projected to double by 2035 unless we take action. The Leukaemia Foundation is committed to changing this narrative, providing support, care, and information to every Australian battling blood cancer.

Bold Changes, Beautiful Impact

Witness a transformation like never before! The World's Greatest Shave is not just a Shave, Cut or Colour—it's a movement. In 2024, we’ve introduced a brand new look and feel to the event, reflecting the strength, resilience, and beauty of those facing blood cancer head-on.

Our new brand is more than just a visual change; it celebrates the everyday heroes in our community supporting the growing number of Australians impacted by blood cancer. We're excited to present a refreshed and invigorated identity that captures the spirit of the World's Greatest Shave.

Why Shave, Cut or Colour Your Hair?

Changing your hair is more than just a style statement; it's an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of Australians facing blood cancer. Whether you choose to Shave, Cut, or Colour your hair, you become a walking billboard for blood cancer support and research. The World’s Greatest Shave, running in March but still possible year round, unites a community of trailblazers determined to shape a brighter future for blood cancer patients and their families.

Treatment often robs blood cancer patients of their hair without giving them a choice. The World's Greatest Shave allows you to make a choice, to take matters into your own hands.

Shave, Cut or Colour your hair to help Australian families battling Leukaemia/leukemia, myeloma, lymphoma and other blood cancers.

Every dollar you raise through this initiative helps keep families together during challenging times, providing practical and emotional support services and funding cutting-edge research.

Now, with our new brand, we're turning heads (literally!) and inviting you to be part of something bigger than yourself. Join us in making a bold statement that resonates with the vibrant spirit of Australia.
