Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Hair is extremely symbolic. To me, it’s represented
different stages of my life. I’ve had it down to my hips, coloured brown and
blonde, cut right at my jaw – it has been a reflection of the person I am and
was. Cutting hair can often be an act of letting go of the past, but I think it
can also be a symbol of hope. And if I can extend even just 20cm of it towards
such a worthy cause, I’m going to do just that.
Because as my mother often says, hair is just hair and it grows
back, but to someone else it can mean so much more.
