I'm fundraising for the World's Greatest Shave

Throughout med school, I've witnessed the devastating effects of blood cancers on patients and their families. There is something to be said about the fragility of life but also the incredible resilience of the human condition. There is a critical need for continued research in pathology. The path to finding cures and improving treatments for blood cancers is paved with the efforts of researchers and medical professionals who dedicate their lives to this cause. Shaving my head is a small act, a statement of commitment to the cause of blood cancer research. by supporting blood cancer research, we are investing in a future where diagnoses are not met with fear but with hope. I say this as not only a future healthcare professional but as a human who believes in the power of collective action.
