Help us take a stand against blood cancer

Just four days after his fourth birthday, Grayson was diagnosed with leukaemia. For weeks before his diagnosis, Grayson was tired, refusing to walk, irritable, and complaining of pain in his tummy. Despite countless visits to the emergency department, it wasn’t until the diagnosis that we learned the pain was caused by a fracture in his hip. He had also broken his arm simply by taking a lid off a marker and hitting it on a bench.
Grayson has endured months of aggressive chemotherapy, and for the first nine months of his treatment, he cannot be more than an hour away from the hospital because of how quickly his condition can change. After this initial phase, his family hope to bring Grayson home in Collie, where he will continue treatment for another two years with daily oral chemotherapy.
Grayson hasn’t seen his family home since his diagnosis, but thanks to the Leukaemia Foundation, he and his family have been provided an apartment near the hospital which they have worked hard to turn this space into a home, ensuring Grayson can continue being the silly, fun-loving, and carefree boy that he is. His strength and resilience is inspiring to all those around him.
His parents take turns traveling back to Collie with their daughter so she can continue school and maintain some normalcy. In the meantime, they do the best they can to juggle work, family, and life in between hospital visits multiple times a week and sometimes hospital stays.
They dream of the day when they can bring Grayson home and share their first family dinner together in their own house and kiss him good night tucked up in his own bedroom again.
