Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer.
One of those people is my mother.
Over the past year and a half, I have seen the impact that leukemia has on not just the individual but their family and community as well. I have seen the work and effort put in by doctors, researchers and transplant teams. I have heard the conversations around new medications and treatment regimens that have been made possible through new research. I've seen the joy something as simple as a Christmas morning tea, brings to those facing the holidays in hospital. A lot of this things are made possible through the selfless donations of strangers.
Any amount – big or small – makes a real, tangible difference, I know, I've seen it.
