Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Hi! I am Grace, a 17-year-old girl who wants to make a difference for those near and far.
A huge part of my participation in the 'Shave for a Cure' is that I have felt so beautiful with my long hair and so I believe it is time someone else should too.
Not only do I want to make a difference, but I want to take this opportunity as a year 12 student to encourage, raise awareness and show bravery in hope of younger students being able to find the courage to be courageous in the following years!
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day - which is why I am so keen to cut my hair for cancer & hopefully reach $1000 of donations in order to help fund the Lukiema Foundation.
Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.
