I'm fundraising for the World's Greatest Shave
After 11 glorious years of beard supremacy, it’s time to say goodbye. On 6th December 2024, I’ll be shaving my beard for the World’s Greatest Shave to support the Leukaemia Foundation to stop blood cancer in its tracks.
This is a big deal. My kids have only ever known me as Dad with a beard. I’m not sure if they’ll even let me in the house afterward. Honestly, I’ve forgotten what my chin looks like… there could be a second one hiding under there. At this stage, I’m just hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.
And before you ask, no, unfortunately I’m not shaving my head. My wife has forbidden it, fearing my “follicle-challenged” hairline might never recover. So, the beard takes the fall.
