Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day. Man, Woman or Child.
I chose to participate in the Worlds Greatest Shave for my 13yr son James who lost his life in November 2022. James did not die from Blood Cancer, but this would be a cause he would happily participate in himself - right beside me, if he were here today. James would sit in 'Mum's Backyard Salon' every 6weeks or so and get a #2 from Me and wash his head off under the hose. So I am now getting a #2 for James and I know he is still right beside me in this. I love you James xx.
So, That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families. Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference. I have the life long pain of loss of a child and its not something I would want anyone to have to go through.
