Why have I decided to participate in the World's Greatest Shave?
Why not!
I understand that one's hair can be a big part of who they are and losing it can feel as if one has lost a part of themselves. I have always wanted to try out a short haircut and I am fortunate enough to be able to decide to cut it instead of being forced out of circumstance. When the opportunity was presented to me to participate in the World's Greatest Shave, I joined wholeheartedly hoping that maybe the hair on my head could serve an important purpose instead of simply existing and help others find some comfort in a scary chapter of their life.
If you have the means to, I encourage you to donate to this cause, whether it is to my page or someone else's. If not though, spread awareness! Simply spreading the word about the World's Greatest Shave can do so much and if you're up for the challenge why not join us by shaving, cutting or colouring your own hair! :D
