Blood cancer is Australia's hidden cancer crisis. There are 140,000 families facing blood cancer right now. And it takes the lives of 16 Australians every day.

These numbers are set to double by 2035. Unless we do something about it. That's why I've signed up for the World's Greatest Shave.

I'm raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation to give Australians facing blood cancer life-changing practical and emotional support. And to fund critical research, bringing us closer to the day when zero lives are lost to blood cancer.

22nd Nov High Tea hosted by Cherie

Sunday 24th Nov

Wonderful High Tea afternoon with delicious food, champagne (which was donated by Maroochy Bridge Hotel) and generous guests donating approx $1,200.00 from entry n raffle tickets. Prizes once again donated by incredibly kind people, consisting of beautifully individually hand knotted necklace and bracelet with natural pearls from Vietnam;, was crafted by a very talented local lady; $50.00 voucher kindly donated by Buderim optometrist, Eyecare Plus; also lovely tiered serving plate donated by a very clever lady who makes these from plates she collects…. My huge thanks to Cherie who not only shared her gorgeous home for this function, but also cooked delicious food as well as Priscilla and my self. Dear friend Annie helped assemble and serve all the goodies too. Four sets of hands on the day ensured all went to plan for a very enjoyable, successful event. 🙏🙏🙏 so blessed to have so many wonderful women supporting me with fundraising for Leukaemia foundation 😌

Trivia Night 7th November

Monday 18th Nov

Kawana Waters Hotel not only gave their venue for this very successful event, they also donated $200.00 worth of vouchers as prizes plus the 66 participants were given a complimentary drink on arrival!! I am so grateful for their ongoing support. Tim from Innquisitive Trivia donated his time and equipment for this event…..Kim and her daughter were amazing with all they did to make this the success it was…. 🙏🙏😘

Spanish Sunday Lunch fundraiser - 17th Nov

Monday 18th Nov

12 incredibly generous friends enjoyed Sangria before share tapas of Patata Bravas w/romesco; Baked feta n olives…. Followed by Seafood Paella then dessert - Pan Calatrava….. $830.00 was donated by the wonderful guests who attended ——- the seafood was generously donated by De Brett Seafood, Mooloolaba. Hope, Grit and Gratitude book kindly donated by author Leigh Caldwell ( a must read) helped raise $130.00 as part of a raffle. Was a fun day and i thoroughly enjoyed prepping and cooking for this wonderful cause… so grateful 🙏🙏🙏

Morning Tea with Cent Sale

Lovely morning with Devonshire tea at my home, kindly organised by Coral. $1,190.00 was raised thanks to lots of generous local businesses who donated wonderful goods and services. Attended by 30+ who also generously donated with entry fee and purchasing tickets to win prizes..
