Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.
Imagine what it’s like for those who bravely fight this battle every day. They go through so much—treatment, hospital stays, and side effects, there are too many to list. Shaving my head isn’t just an act of solidarity, it’s a powerful gesture of hope.
When I shave my head, I'm not only showing empathy, but I'm also raising awareness for leukemia, a type of cancer that affects not only the patient suffering from this devastating disease but also their families. I'm telling them that they’re not alone in their fight. Every shaved head represents strength, courage, and a shared commitment to stand by these warriors.
But that’s not all, the money the school raises from shaving my head can go directly to funding research for better treatments and ultimately a cure. Every dollar counts and every head shaved makes a difference in the lives of those affected by this cancer.
By participating in "Shave for a Cure," I'm showing that together, i can make a real impact. Im helping to remind all who are fighting leukemia that there is hope—that they are surrounded by people who care and are willing to go the extra mile to support them
