Help me take a stand against blood cancer

Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.

That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.

Thanks for having your say

I’m $1,480 away from my next impact milestone. Please help me reach it.

My Updates

Why this?

Saturday 15th Mar
In 2016 I was diagnosed with Leukaemia. It changed everything in my life, and everything that I had looked forward to had just became uncertain. The type of Leukaemia I had was uncommon, about 2% get it. I was lucky, as in the luckiest man in the world type lucky, and with the incredible care from Prof Ian Kerridge who I will always be indebted to, the staff at Royal North Shore Hospital and my parents whose lives also stopped so they could care for me every single day, I was blessed with a happy story to tell of complete remission.

Sadly, the vast majority of friends with Leukaemia have not had a happy story to tell. With a mere head shave, I'm hoping to raise some money to help people who are suffering with blood cancer, and the hope that more people can also have a happy story of survival to tell at the end of their guelling journey.

The great thing about the Leukaemia Foundation, is that the money raised goes through for research and patient support. Counsellors, accomodation, and transport for people on the ground, and of course vital research to help find a cure.

If appropriate, please help the Leukaemia Foundation to help patients in their quest and journey for remission.
