Help me take a stand against blood cancer
After learning that the chemo that I had last year for breast cancer, could down the track cause Leukaemia, and recently finding out that an old school friend has been diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia, I decided to do something to help others going through Cancer and to help with the research and treatment of Blood cancers. I have been battling cancer for 10 years. In those 10 years I have had 6 cancers. I have lost my hair twice, so I'm ok with not having hair, and figured, why not do Shave for a Cure.
If you can donate, it would be much appreciated by so many. Every little bit counts. Cancer doesn't just affect the person with the cancer, but all of those family and friends around them.
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.
