Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.
Our family was impacted by Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL), when 'man flu', infact wasn't man flu after all. My husband was flown from Central Queensland to Brisbane the day of his diagnosis in December 2023 and I followed in the car with our 1yr old & 5yr old boys and my Mum a day behind. The Leukaemia Village became our home for the next 10 months.
Patrick spent more time in hospital then out of hospital in the first six months due to complications. There were some scary days but thankfully, with Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Radiation and and Bone Marrow Transplant he is in remission. Regular telehealth reviews continue and other ongoing medical complications have arisen but he is alive and taking on this new health battle.
To show our gratitude, our family is raising awareness and money to continue to support research and families impacted by blood cancers.
Any amount – big or small – is so gratefully received.

The carers and supporters are often overlooked in a battle like this, not intentionally of course. As a survivor myself, I would never be able to replay my partner for what he did. I am glad Patrick had you guys!
